Donald P. Schweitzer
Donald P. Schweitzer is the founder and principal attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, a Pasadena law firm practicing divorce and family law in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California. Mr. Schweitzer is Certified as a Specialist in Domestic Relations-Family Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization, demonstrating advanced professional development and experience in family law and the esteem of fellow lawyers and judges practicing in the area of family law.
Mr. Schweitzer earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Redlands and his Juris Doctorate law degree from Southwestern Law School, where he won both an American Jurisprudence award for a criminal law writing seminar and the award for the Best Brief in a Moot Court competition.
Mr. Schweitzer is an Army veteran and former Military Policeman, as well as a former Santa Ana Police Officer and Orange County Deputy District Attorney. These experiences have served him well in his family law specialty, providing him with abundant trial experience and the firsthand application of conflict resolution techniques in many different scenarios. Mr. Schweitzer is admitted to practice in all California state courts and is active in numerous local, state and federal bar associations, including serving as Chair of the Family Law Section for the Pasadena Bar Association.
